Dear grades, please get well soon!

Hello guys! It's been a while since I last gave a decent update.

Life has been pretty lovely with A around, and in this new year I'm learning to be a better person :)

So these few weeks are the UT weeks.. Sigh, I think it's time I do something about my grades. I seem to be.. Really unfocused this semester. Next year, it's gonna be the core modules. I will strive harder.. Reading faci's comments for me really makes me reflect..

So this is the Rj question: What are some possible explanations or theories you have about how you have been performing academically in your first year? What would be the best explanation?

Response: My grades in semester one was way better than what I am getting in semester. The possible explanation would be that I am not as motivated to work hard in the second semester compared to the first semester. The best explanation would be because I am lazy and not willing to work hard to earn good grades.

Dear Jia Hui, thank you for this reflection. Ok so you have been brutally honest in thinking about the reason for your performance. The question now is what do you want to do about it? I guess it will depend on the plans you have for your future. I had a look at your grades for all the modules and you seem to be doing average, which is fine I guess if you just want to pass. But if you knew that you had the potential to do very well, and to excel now so that you can open up more opportunities later, would that make you more motivated?

Jiahui I hope that you can give your best so that you can see good grades that you're capable of. Jiayou.

Anyway.. Felt's birthday is coming soon, and I've yet to buy her birthday gift.. Better get it bought asap hmmmm.

Supposed to go town and shop with the usual clique I hang around with in class.. But it seems that I'm unable to make it AGAIN. Damn, I feel so bad. It's like the 2nd or 3rd time which I NEED to give it a miss due to important stuffs going on.. Thankfully they're nice enough to say, they'll just accompany and watch me shop another day. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA :P

Did I mention that A's flying off to Aussie in Feb? Brisbane's having a flood now, I hope the situation there gets better before he flies there. And I'm looking forward to 5th March.. Omg mad excited :P
